A Taste of Mexico in Kensington

Chef Elena Ramirez left Mexico City in 2015 with a mission: bring authentic regional Mexican cuisine to Toronto. No Tex-Mex shortcuts—just real recipes from her grandmother's kitchen in Oaxaca.

Today, Casa Azteca is a vibrant gathering place where the spirit of Mexico comes alive. From our handmade corn tortillas to our house-infused mezcals, every detail honors the traditions we love.
